On our first night in Orlando we ran to the store to get some milk. We pull off the interstate and pull behind 5 planes driving down the road! I couldn't resist getting out of the car with my iphone and taking this picture. I walked right up next to the police officer and asked if it was ok and he said "Are you kidding? I would be taking pictures too! Take as many as you want!" We found out that they were heading to the convention center for a plane show. Crazy huh? Wordless Wednesday - Plane on a Highway
On our first night in Orlando we ran to the store to get some milk. We pull off the interstate and pull behind 5 planes driving down the road! I couldn't resist getting out of the car with my iphone and taking this picture. I walked right up next to the police officer and asked if it was ok and he said "Are you kidding? I would be taking pictures too! Take as many as you want!" We found out that they were heading to the convention center for a plane show. Crazy huh? Talk about something I never thought I'd see!

When I was a teacher in CA a plane landed in the middle of a street and hit a bus with our kids on it. They were all ok, but your picture reminded me of that! Much aloha!

Thanks for dropping by my WW! And by the way...it was lemonade in those cups...we had just left the pumpkin patch. I think that was the first time they fell asleep in the car.....hum...might have to try that more often!

Wow! That is certainly not something you see every day. That reminded me of something I heard on the radio once that when the interstate roadways were designed, there is a 1 mile stretch every 5 miles for planes to land. I have never looked it up to see if it is ture or not.

That does sound crazy! I read a book once where a plane had to land in the middle of a highway but five? Wow!
~*giggle*~ TOo funny...That hapen here in Baton Rouge at the airport, but the pilot MISTAKEN the highway for the runway! =0/ OOPPSSssss.....
