The purpose was to procure a dry burpee.
We need it to dry off the dolls.
She did not return empty-handed.
But she did not come back with a burpee either.
She did come back with her bikini.
She is now trying to dress herself in her bikini.
She has never worn this bikini outside the house.
She looks extremely cute in it.
But the bikini doesn't protect that fair skin from the sun.
So she wears her full length swimsuit to the pool.
The bikini is officially a dress up item:)
She is happy with this arrangement.
I just have to say again how cool it would be to have such a lightweight, flexible stroller.
One of the most important things in a stroller (besides the look) is how much it weighs. At 15 pounds it's perfect for me! I have had back injuries in the past and need to be careful of how much weight I lift and lugging a stroller into and out of a car requires something light enough

I had my nails buffed and polished yesterday, then I broke one because I can't seem to keep from chewing on it, so my nail tech fixed it...guess what?
I just broke it again this morning.
I'm going to put bitters on it or something! LOl
Pea goes to the Dr. in about an hour and a half...I can't wait!
She's got to have some spots checked out on her skin, and the doctor wants to review her immunization record.
We are going with delayed immunizations, because she was really sick at 4 months (I thought she had a virus) then at her 6 month shots too...hmmmm.
It was very frightening!
I was SOOOO nervous to talk with her doctor about it.
So, instead of going to the shot clinic, we'll have to get them at the doctors office, but it will be a few years before she gets another one.
Then we are going to do the Titters test before, so we know what she needs.
Okay, I'm off to give a little lady a bath!
I like that it has adjustable handles. I'm 4'11" so this is very important. I also like that it only weighs 15 pounds and how small it folds up.
I like that I can get it in and out of the car without a lot of trouble.
Back from the doctor...my little sweet Pea has grown!!
She's 29 inches and 18 lbs. A far cry for the 5 lbs baby I brought home!!
She was so funny, they put her on the scale and she screamed!
Her doctor said, That's okay honey, I scream everytime I step on the scale too!
LOL, don't we all!
My sister found out the sex of her baby today.
I am impatiently waiting for her to call me!
I've already tried to call her.
But I've had no response.
I think she's toying with me.
She know I am dying to know if I 'm getting a niece or a nephew.
I am itching to go out and buy baby clothes!
I have been convinced I'm getting a niece.
I've even bought some baby girl clothes . . .
Last night I had a dream that there was a purple Micralite...it was a pretty cool purple.
I need to know if I have to do bunch of returns!
LOL, I woke up thinking, seriously??
Or if I can carry on with my baby girl shopping!

There are apartments behind us...
A lady bought them about 5 years ago and she's really cleaned them up.
Except she really likes lawn decorations. A lot.
I mean over the top a lot.
There is no playing on the grass at that place, because every single inch is covered with animals, American flags, benches, fake flowers, year round.
I'll have to go over and take some pictures.
Whenever we walk by there, I see something new.
I can't tell you how much better my foot feels now that I got that peice of glass out of it. Sliver my foot! It was a chunk of glass!
It seems to be very light weight!
Hello there, I'm back!
Do you know, the minute I typed this, my daughter woke up! Arrgh!
Why does this happen?
I was about to type something to the effect of: "my daughter is napping at last".
I can't type that now, it would not be true!
She is very much awake.
She is also incredibly grumpy.
She is lying on my lap.
Typing with one hand is getting really old.
Oh yes, did I mention my sister is having a boy!
Like I said, I bought baby girl clothes . . .
So we are off to the mall in a bit.
It seems I have some returning to do.
My sister thinks this is rather amusing.
She always maintained she was having a boy.
I guess I've learned my lesson now!
Now I have to find some cute baby boy stuff.
It's tricky finding cute stuff that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to ship to another continent.
Especially as we no longer have the option to send packages via sea.
This takes a lot longer.
But it is so much cheaper.
I used to ship christmas parcels in September.
They would usually make it to my family just in time for Christmas.
I didn't mind because I saved so much money that way.
Now it's all the same and it is stupendously expensive.
I sent my gran a card, photos and a tiny sack of chocolates for her birthday.
It cost me 12 dollars to mail that tiny parcel.
The shipping cost more than the total value of the gift!
Don't you hate it when that happens?
The sack of chocolates only cost 5 bucks.
To add insult to injury, she didn't even get her parcel on time.
I mailed it way in advance.
I do hate to be at the mercy of the postal system
Ah well, what can you do?
Look on the bright side.
I'm getting another nephew in December!
This is such wonderful news.
My oldest nephew is going to be a big brother.
This will be a big change in his universe.
He is accustomed to being his mom's one and only.
I am sure he will love it though.
My daughter is trying to stop me from typing.
She keeps grabbing my hands.
It does make commenting a challenge.
My daughter has just brought me my shoes.
This is a strong hint.
I have told her to go find her shoes.
This buys me a minute.
She is now trying to put her shoes on.
This buys me a minute more.
Soon she will get frustrated.
I forgot to close the bathroom door.
My daughter has gone in there.
I have to go and get her.
No need! That clever little girl came out on her own.
Plus she closed the door behind her!
What a little smarty pants!
She wants to wear the shoes she got wet at the water park yesterday.
I have just pointed out that her shoes are wet.
Now she is going into the kitchen with her shoe because she's looking for a dish towel to dry it!
I love the way a little mind works.
They are so incredibly smart.
We never give them enough credit.
So we are shocked by their smarts.
I am lucky with this little munchkin.
She is smart and she has a wicked sense of humor!

OK, I had better go now.
My daughter has brought me two pairs of her shoes.
Both pairs are dry.
She has been very patient with me.
I can delay our mall excursion no longer.

I leave in about 5 mins. to pick up Pea then head to the school for the meet the teachers deal.

I love that it is self-standing when folded. My stoller is always crashing to the ground when we try to lean it against a wall!

I've fallen way behind
I've had NO time to comment all day!
I was busy at work
and DD had a Dr. appt.
so I was gone for awhile to that
she is perfect of course!
i didn't go to the gym tonight
because it's in the 70's
so we are going to take a walk tonight after dinner
instead of walking inside on a treadmill!
dh helped me make dinner
so now the oven is heating up
so we can just pop it in & eat in 20 minutes!
he picked out this recipe
so he is excited to try it out
it's just taco pie,
looks yummy though!
but very unhealthy
we used reduced fat crescent rolls
instead of a pie crust
and reduced fat sour cream
