«Oldest ‹Older 4401 – 4600 of 5415 Newer› Newest»and teenagers look at me like "i would NEVER bring my child out to eat"
and I just laugh to myself
becuase I'm sure that when I was their age
even though I loved kids
i'm sure I gave someone that look

i just don't get them
he wants to go outside
but it is wayyyy too hot
so I guess i'll let him play in the bathtub
since it's too hot for the pool!

G is playing with his baby!
pushing her around in the stroller
now he's feeding her some play food
OH - did you ever knit anything else?
I've had the knitting bug recently
but I have projects that need to get finished
esp before I start on something that I might get frustrated with and quit!
did I tell you that J & I rode segways at Epcot??
that was really neat
ok so I know AG is a little young for this...
do you have a potty chair that you would reccomend?
just curious.
just talked to mom
she is going to check out your site later today!!
alright we're going to go run errands
but we'll check back later

I'm hoping that we will!!

You aren't very far behind in the polls...I'm still rooting for ya!
I've still got my fingers crossed!
I've only got one thing on the brain...Micralite...and voting!
This stroller and I belong together like peanut butter and jelly! LOL
Pulling this single mom act while the hubs is out of town isn't easy!!
The kids were up and at 'em early this morning.
So was I for that fact!
How I wish I could take a nap!!
I miss my Brand!
Hmmmm...what would make me feel better?? I wonder????
I told him to stop in Target for me!!
I don't think he will...but I can always wish!
They have such cute little girl clothes for fall...
I need to clean Miss Pea's closet, we've got clothes that she's grown out of.
This spring my mom had a garage sale and my aunt put her crib in the sale...
There was this young couple that came to buy it, but they asked if my mom would hold it until the next week when the guy got paid...they had no money.
So, my mom said yes, no prob and they picked it up the next week.
They were having a little girl in less than 2 weeks and didn't have anything for her.
My mom visited with them, and she really became fond of this couple. They had recently relocated to our town with no family here.
She was telling me about them...Oh! My heart was breaking!
You always want the best for your children, and this couple simply didn't have the money or means to do that.
I had gotten so much for Pea when she was born.
Most of it, she wasn't able to wear due to her being premie sized. I had gotten lots of summer outfits...
When mom told me of this couple I got out Pea's clothing and boxed up 5 boxes of summer clothing for a newborn-3to6 month clothing.
They had their little girl in May, a beautiful 8 lb 4 oz little thing.
I was so happy to be able to help them out...and the only thing I asked is that they pay it forward.
Just anytime in the future...
I often see them around town and wonder how they are doing...
I have Pea's winter clothes from last year I've got to get put in totes...
The cemetery tour is coming up...I've got to get busy on my speech...
I think Scrubs is a funny show...
Last night, Pea was munching on some Ritz bits...she loves those, and Johnny said Ritz Bits Fits fast. Due to ear infections and whatnot he has a loss of hearing and so his speech has been affected. It's much better, but when he talks fast he's hard to understand.
When he said that fast, it took me a minute, I thought he said something naughty...because he was partly peeved at me for something.
I stopped and asked him what he said and he looked at me funny...and told me again.
It's time for me to get Pea, I'll be back later!
I love too that it is compact.
I like how lightweight it is and the great tires

heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
i'm making dinner for a friend
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
who just had a baby
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
i always feel so lost as to what to make
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
and i usually resort to comfort food
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
which is what i'm making now
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
a pan of burritos
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
and it's always a little embarrassing
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
for me to bring over this comfort food
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
because i'm a health counselor
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
but everyone needs a little comfort food, right?
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
especially after having a baby
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
and i'm sure that's what i'll want, too
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
back to the burritos!
heatherehammond (at) gmail (dot) com
Oh the joys...of being at work!!
You are ahead in the voting match right now! Woot!
I'm just exhausted...I'd like to nap!
I can't wait for your celeb news...I'm a HUGE fan of Johnny Depp. He's a hottie!
Pretty funny, talented, witty and did I mention hot?
I've got that song that Celine Dion and Josh Groban sing together...I know the words, but can't get the title out...
One of the headlines on CNN,
Rapper drops F-Bomb in court.
Niiiiice....
I love the large wheels; now I don't have to worry so much about my dog tipping the little one over!
My brother has a flag football game tonight. I think we are going to go watch.
I think it would be fun to play, and girls can...
but one girl on my brother's team last year was creamed in a tackle and ended up with pins in her ankle
The only good thing about it...the team they were playing against was the Fire and Rescue team, so there was no need to call an ambulance.
There once was a girl in the southeast
who's current stroller was a beast
I'm a baby, I don't want to get hurt!
didn't have the money to throw away
Johnny is ready to play though.
so she entered this contest the other day
Have you thought about Halloween costumes yet?
whit hopes of winning a Micralite FastFold
Johnny wants to be Tim the Tool Man Taylor. He's already got it planned out.
in a cool color, that would be nice & bold
I don't know what Pea should be however.
what a dream that would be!!
to have a new stroller mailed to me!
I think I'd jump and leap with joy
can't wait to play with my new toy!!
I'll be the coolest kid on the block
and laugh at the other strollers...I could mock
I suppose I should be nice, you see
because others out there won't be as lucky as me
grr i just realized i was using my other bloggy name that isn't even live yet
Can you name the seven dwarfs?
grumpy
dopey
bashful
doc
sneezy
sleepy
yay -- i think that was 7
who's the leader
of the pack

M-I-C-K-E-Y

OH - G and I went and had my labs drawn
Princess, Tink, Minnie Mouse??
the vampire was pretty good
they never listen when I tell them I'm a hard stick
after she missed the first time
and she looked, and looked..
she asked where they usually were able to stick me
i had already told her once
but for my vein's sake i repeated myself
and TA DA
guess what?
it worked!!!
I'm crackin' up on today's Cake Wrecks post. Hilarious!
imagine that!
The worst cake I've had to pay for was Johnny's 2nd birthday. They misspelled Johnathan. Even though I spelled it out for them.
hopefully next time you have to have an IV
you'll have a great nurse to start it -
you know,
kind of like the one that started your last IV
When my hubbys friend got married he through the Bach. party. Well, I did most of it! Anyway, I had a cake made of the boobs of a woman. Tacky, I know, any way, when I dropped the cake off, Johnny was with me and he was 4 at the time, he asked his dad, "Do you think you can save me some cake?" My boy loves cake...then he added "But I don't want any of those mountains" LOL
I about peed my pants laughing!
I need to figure out what kind of bulb goes in my lamp on my entry table...
when we packed everything we took the bulbs out
so that they wouldn't break
and now I can't find the bulbs
i need to get some picture frames to put up
Graham sees pics of himself and says "baby"
he doesn't understand that it is himself
but then again, any child is still a "baby" to him
we are working on "big boy" "big girl"
There is no better way to wear your munchkin out than with a morning at the pool!
We came back from the pool, barely had time for a snack and she is out like a light!
This gives mommy some uninterrupted computer time - yess!
Only problem is, mommy is worn out too!
A nap is sounding rather tempting.
But I cannot succumb to the afternoon sleep bug.
I will get nothing accomplished after that!
we have a meeting tonight
Yup, my day will be shot.
and eveyrone is supposed to bring something....like potluck
It is a drowsy kind of afternoon though.
At least it is in this house!
only we usually email what we are bringing
I went to the mall yesterday.
and we meet tonight at 6:30
and it's already 3
I returned all the baby girl outfits I bought.
I bought them anticipating I would be getting a niece.
But my sister has announced it is a nephew on the way.
and no one has volunteered to bring the main dish
so me, being the overachiever I am
She showed me what happens when I presume!
I'm going to try to throw something together
I was so very sure it was a girl.
in addition to bringing salad & bread
I declared my theory loudly to all who would hear it.
for 14 adults
Now I have egg on my face!
The only good thing about my hubby out of town is that I get the entire bed to myself....ahhhh!!
Well, aside from Lucy, of course the dog has to sleep on the bed.
Can you tell that I'm not in charge of this group?
I am the one in the corner quietly mumbling excuses.
I'm torn on that whole issue.
b/c if I were
I really wish she wouldn't sleep on the bed.
I should never have admitted to my sister that I bought girl clothes!
each family would be responsible for part of the meal -
But I think if we made her quit, she'd think we didn't love her anymore!
I assure you she is never going to let me forget it!
She's a baby like that!
and it would be assigned each week
